What do you do when you keep getting rejected from the opportunities you want?
When I was rebuilding my online coaching business in 2022, I applied to a collaborative event and was rejected. There was no explanation, and I started filling in the blanks myself. Maybe I wasn’t established enough. Maybe I didn’t look like the other people in the industry. Maybe I wasn’t seen as an authority.
I applied again a few months later and was rejected again.
That experience changed the way I looked at collaboration, visibility, authority, and eventually my own business.
In this episode, I share what happened when I kept getting rejected, the assumptions I made about what it took to be seen as successful in the online business space, and the moment I decided that if I couldn’t find a space to collaborate in, I could create one myself.
That decision eventually led to my first online coaching bundle, 60+ contributors, more collaborative events, summits, and eventually a business where I now host multiple collaborative events.
This is a conversation about business rejection, creating your own opportunities, building authority, and what can happen when you stop waiting for someone else to give you a seat.
